Get to Know Your Provider: Dr. Dan Nemeth, MD – Expert Interventional Spine Specialist

At Signe Spine & Rehab, we understand that the foundation of great care is trust between patients and providers. That’s why we’re proud to introduce our founder and board-certified interventional spine specialist, Dr. Daniel Nemeth, MD, who has been serving the Charleston and Mount Pleasant, SC community since 2014.

Dr. Nemeth’s Background and Education
Dr. Nemeth grew up along the shores of Lake Michigan in Northwest Indiana, where he developed an early passion for science and medicine. He earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, gaining a strong foundation in problem-solving and medical technology. Dr. Nemeth then pursued his medical education at St. Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman, before completing his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois. It was during this time that he discovered a deep interest in spine care and interventional treatments that help restore mobility and relieve chronic pain.

To further specialize in advanced spine care, Dr. Nemeth completed an Interventional Spine Fellowship at The Orthopedic Clinic Association (TOCA) in Phoenix, Arizona, where he trained extensively in minimally invasive spinal procedures. Today, he is a board-certified physiatrist who diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.

A Patient-Centered Approach to Spine Care
Since founding Signe Spine & Rehab, LLC, Dr. Nemeth has focused on providing a conservative, patient-focused approach to spine care. He emphasizes identifying the true source of pain and creating a personalized treatment plan. While highly skilled in interventional spine procedures, he recognizes when surgical referral is appropriate, ensuring each patient receives care tailored to their needs. His approach combines precision, compassion, and advanced spine care techniques to help patients return to the activities they love.

Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nemeth enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, their two children, and their golden doodle, Cayman. Whether exploring the outdoors, supporting his children’s activities, or embracing the Lowcountry lifestyle, family remains at the center of his life.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Nemeth has built Signe Spine & Rehab into a practice where patients can trust that every step of their care is thoughtful, individualized, and effective.
